From a young age, my fascination with the night sky evolved into a driving passion for space research and physics. Over the past two years, I've actively sought ways to apply physics principles to aerospace. My love for physics dates back to elementary science, where understanding Newton's laws and fundamental forces reshaped how I perceived the world in terms of motion and natural connections. As I delved deeper into physics, my focus narrowed to aerospace, particularly astrophysics. I avidly read about topics like gravitational waves, the discovery of new planets, and the formation of novas, galaxies, and stars. These interests led me to aspire to pursue a degree in aerospace and delve further into astrophysics.
I am a competitive swimmer and have been for over seven years, with my main events being butterfly and freestyle. While growing up in Las Vegas, I took swimming as more lessons than training. When I moved to Seattle, I became more interested in keeping the physique that swimming requires, so I continued to swim more on my own time. After moving to Texas, I learned about the intensity that swimming can offer as an individual-led sport. For most of my years living here, I’ve grown into a professional varsity swimmer for my high school. Just as any sport goes, setbacks and failures are friends I know the most. Nonetheless, small moments in this sport are the most rewarding. Attaining a time drop, even by half a second, proves I beat who I was yesterday.
